Health Care Law
Hospitals - We regularly represent hospitals in all types of transactions. We represent hospitals in contract negotiations with physician groups. We also provide legal services in the areas of Stark laws, anti-kickback laws, business transactions and other regulatory matters. We have formed charitable tax-exempt non-profit foundations under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) for purposes of attracting tax deductible contributions for various foundations to assist in fulfilling a hospital’s charitable goals.
Physician Groups - Physicians and physician groups often struggle to comply with the plethora of laws related to their practice. We work with physicians and physician groups to guide them through regulatory issues. We have created working manuals on policies and procedures to meet the specific needs of our clients to comply with Medicare/Medicaid laws.
Communities - Zeleskey continues to represent non-profit service organizations in the East Texas community through representation on negotiating physician contracts, navigating non-profit laws, and complying with federal laws.

Lawyers on our healthcare team remain current with the dynamic healthcare industry and federal and state rules and regulations by attending educational seminars. Zeleskey also keeps a pulse on the healthcare industry by continuously working with principals in the healthcare field. In efforts to offer its clients the most current information, Zeleskey healthcare attorneys attend numerous conferences in the State of Texas. In addition, we have recently attended national health law conferences sponsored by the American Health Lawyers Association in Baltimore, Chicago and San Francisco.
